- The kit - The engine bonnet is a mixture of Eduard and The Show Modelling photoetched parts and is assembling with difficulty. The sand color (HP1 Humbrol) is painting with a airbrush. The weathering is making with some filter of oils colors of pale yellow and titanium white (Winsor and Newton product) to look like a burned sand color. A wash with Van Dyck brown is applying around bolts, rivets and all hollows. A drybrush is making with enamel (H71), and finally, on the more used area, I'm using a fine sponge saturated with Prince August acrylic brown, and for the rest, a brown pencil drawing for the fine chips. |
